Patrick Maroon and Max Cajkovic, who played for Tampa Bay Lightning, have been traded to the Minnesota Wild in a deal that saw the Lightning receive a 7th Round Pick in the 2024 draft.
As part of the trade agreement, Tampa will continue to pay 20% of Maroon's salary, amounting to $200k out of his $1M contract, until 2024.

Maroon, who is held in high regard by Tampa's fanbase, recorded 5 goals and 14 points in 80 games for the Lightning this season.
The talented player also has an impressive record as a 2x Stanley Cup Champion, having won with Tampa Bay in both 2020 and 2021 and with St. Louis in 2019.
Cajkovic's Journey So Far
At just 22 years old, Cajkovic has already made a mark as a former third-round pick of the Lightning.
He spent the previous season alternating between the AHL and ECHL. His contract with the Lightning is valid until the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
