New Tampa Bay Alternate Logo And Third Jersey Leak Online

A picture of the new jerseys began to spread around the internet this afternoon after someone apparently spotted it at what appears to be a Lightning team merch store with no customers in it. It is a primarily black jersey featuring a new circular logo containing the classic thunderbolt design.

The leaked image could match up with another leak that was shown of by the Icethetics X account in December. Notably, the account reposted their original picture of the jersey following this recent leak. In the Icethetics post we see a zoomed in shot of one of the shoulders, which features a smaller version of the same logo that is on the front of the new jersey.

Interestingly though, the shoulder patch does not seem to be present on the jersey in the pictures circulating around the internet today. Fans pointed out that the Icethetics post is likely related to the leak, but that detail seems to be oddly missing.

Regardless, it is clear that both sources are showing off some version of a new alternate jersey for the Lightning. The team joins the ranks of several other teams including the Stars, Sharks, and Hurricanes that already wear black third jerseys.
