Auston Matthews Spends Time Bonding With Newly Signed Maple Leaf

Recently Auston Matthews and Max Domi got together for dinner.

Domi and Matthews look to be having a nice time getting to know one another. Domi is one of the many additions made by Brad Treliving this summer. He might even be able to help Matthews and some of the other guys the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs on a more personal level.

This is because his dad Tie Domi spent a significant amount of time playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Max basically grew up in that locker room with Maple Leafs history happening around him.

With their second round exit in the 2023 NHL playoffs the Toronto Maple Leafs improved. They finally broke what many felt was a first round curse. Now the goal is to take things all the way to a Stanley Cup championship.

The additions of players like Max Domi along with Tyler Bertuzzi and John Klingberg will be the big names that will provide the improvements. Young players such as Matthew Knies and Nick Robertson also have a chance to help the team improve.

If the Maple Leafs can find a way to keep pushing through in the playoffs a Stanley Cup could be on the horizon. For now though, the team just needs to get off to a good regular season start and gel together.
