The Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing for potential trades as the deadline nears. General Manager Brad Treliving is expected to be active in the trade market to bolster the team for the playoffs.

It's reported that as many as four Toronto players could be traded by March 8th.

Potential Departure of Two Defensemen from Toronto Before Deadline?

Speculation is rife that T.J. Brodie and Conor Timmins may be up for trade soon.
Timmins, who impressed many fans at training camp, faced setbacks due to an injury and has struggled this year, playing only 14 games and often being healthy-scratched by Sheldon Keefe. Unless there's injuries at the blue line, we shouldn't see him back on the ice for the Leafs so soon.
As for Brodie, whose contract expires this season, could be traded by Treliving if he wants to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing at the opening of the free agent market.

Treliving Considering Trades for Two Veterans Losing Their Edge?

Some Toronto players aren't meeting expectations. Brad Treliving has the task of trading those who aren't effectively contributing. Both Ilya Samsonov and Ryan Reaves have had underwhelming seasons, and many fans are calling for their trade.
Yet, their poor performance could complicate things. It's hard to see any NHL team eagerly pursuing Reaves or Samsonov in their current state.
Despite these possible trades, the hope is that Treliving makes tactical choices that favor the team's immediate success while keeping in mind the future of the organization.
Who do you think will be traded?
