Sheldon Keefe Critics Former GM Kyle Dubas
A lot of speculation has surrounded the relationship between Sheldon Keefe and former Leafs' GM, Kyle Dubas.
Recently, Keefe made a comment during a press conference that seemed to indirectly criticize Dubas.
During the press conference, Keefe mentioned that the new Assistant Coaches made the coaching staff complete, hinting that it hadn't been complete before.

"It's as complete a staff as we've had in my time." - Sheldon Keefe
Some people saw this as a jab at Dubas, suggesting that he didn't provide Keefe with the coaching staff he wanted.
The question is, why would Keefe openly criticize his former manager who supported him through tough times, including when Keefe's job was on the line? Perhaps he's trying to show loyalty to the new administration.
Keefe became the head coach of the Maple Leafs directly from the Toronto Marlies. Under his leadership, the team only won one playoff series despite having many talented players. It's a bit unfair for Keefe to imply that Dubas is responsible for the team's lack of success when Keefe was the one making decisions during games.
Keefe may feel confident enough to criticize now, but if the next season doesn't go well, he could be at risk of losing his job, especially with a new assistant coach who has prior head coaching experience.
Do you think Keefe will be fired if the Leafs get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs?
