The renowned Joe Bowen, who's been calling the Toronto Maple Leafs' games for over four decades, blasted the Leafs' fans after game three against the Boston Bruins.

The B's ended up winning the game 4-2, and Bowen had some harsh words for the fans. He believes that the crows, espscially in the playoffs, must help the local team by giving them energy when they need it, not only react to what's happening.
Here's what he posted:
The idea of going
To any sporting event
To support the home team is to
Be PRO ACTIVE!!!
Give the team energy when they need it Not sitting down waiting
To be REACTIVE. The players can't say it but I will tonight's crowd was VERY DISAPPOINTING
As you can guess, this generated a lot of negative feedback in the comments.
It didn't take long before a fan pointed out that the ticket costs in the playoffs have always been absurd, leaving "real fans" outside the arena.
Joe. When you charge $600 for a lower bowl seat, the real fans aren't attending.

I have had season tickets for 8 years and can't afford my own seats in the playoffs. It's ridiculous.
Do you agree with Joe Bowen that the Leafs' fans in the Scotiabank Arena must do better to support their team?
