Today several announcements were made regarding the NHL's upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off including star players participating for their nations like Auston Matthews.
The Toronto Maple Leafs had a disappointing end to their 2024 season. Despite failing to succeed in the playoffs a couple of their players have now received a huge honor. Both Auston Matthews and William Nylander have been selected to their respective countries' teams for the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off.
Each country participating announced their first six players to be on their roster. Auston Matthews was selected to Team USA after his record-breaking year.
