In breaking news this morning, the Toronto Maple Leafs have just sent goaltender Matt Murray to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL on a conditioning stint.

Matt Murray is one of the bigger questions for the Toronto Maple Leafs regarding his health and when he may be able to return to play. The Leafs have plenty of goaltending firepower in their ranks, with Ilya Samsonov, Joseph Woll, Martin Jones, and now Matt Murray coming back. It makes for an interesting situation now that playoffs are approaching.
It was revealed today that Murray is getting closer to a potential return, as he was loaned to the Toronto Marlies on a conditioning stint.
