Following Woll's Instagram post, Domi shared his own, showing appreciation for his goaltender. This has led many to believe that Domi's return to the Leafs is likely. Typically, players in contract negotiations distance themselves from their teams on social media, often removing affiliations, which fuels departure rumors. However, Domi's behavior suggests the opposite.

Max Domi, a second-generation NHL player, seems destined to remain a Leaf. His father, Tie Domi, spent over a decade with Toronto, and Max grew up at Scotiabank Arena (formerly Air Canada Centre). It's in his blood. Given his recent posts and connection to the team, it would be surprising to see him leave this summer, especially so close to free agency. All signs point to Domi staying with the Maple Leafs.
