The Edmonton Oilers have fallen to a 4-1 deficit against the Florida Panthers, and late in the second period, frustration began boiling over. After Aaron Ekblad was put in the penalty box, he was swiftly followed by Corey Perry, who was put in his place quickly by official Steve Kozari.
The veteran forward clearly wasn't happy about the situation, as he continued to berate the officials, dropping plenty of foul language in the process.
Given their inability to put the puck in the back of the net, with just two goals in eight full periods of hockey, it's understandable why the Oilers would be frustrated, as the crowd in Edmonton has become deflated during this performance. Ultimately nothing would come of Perry's actions, as he took the minor penalty and got back on the ice, but if someone continues this type of language directed at the officials, it wouldn't come as any surprise if the league came through with a punishment.
