There's a buzz around a potential trade that could shake things up for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The latest proposal has Nick Robertson heading to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Noel Acciari.

Robertson, a restricted free agent has made it clear he wants out.
According to a fan-generated trade idea, GM Brad Treliving and Toronto would send Robertson and a 2027 sixth-round pick to Pittsburgh and, in return, snag Acciari from GM Kyle Dubas and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
Aside from ridding themselves of the disgruntled Robertson, Acciari, is a solid replacement for him. The former Leaf was a reliable bottom six grinder before becoming a Penguin, where he signed a three-year, $2 million AAV deal.
For Robertson, it's clear he needs a change of scenery. Despite showing promise, the 22-year-old struggled to secure a consistent spot in the Leafs lineup as he was plagued by injury, and only appeared in 56 games last season where he had 14 goals and 27 points.
The trade idea is a great one as one who doesn't want to be in blue and white player is traded for similar one who does.
