Sheldon Keefe, upon formally being introduced as #NJDevils head coach, says he found quick closure after being fired by the #leafs.
"This is a fresh start and a great opportunity ahead. It's completely unique and different."
The New Jersey Devils are a team built similar to the Toronto Maple Leafs when Sheldon Keefe arrived in Toronto. A lot of young talent who had not reached their peak yet. The nice thing for Sheldon Keefe with the New Jersey Devils is the talent is more spread throughout the lineup and not just at the forward position.
If Sheldon Keefe can use his coaching style to get through to the young players on the roster the Devils could find a lot of success. This offseason will be interesting to watch to see how much influence Sheldon Keefe has on changes that are made.
