The Toronto Maple Leafs are just days away from taking on the Boston Bruins in round one of the playoffs, and now we've got a major update on some top names.
Ahead of the playoffs, seemingly every team is banged up, but with days to go until their first-round series begins, there's still questions over the health of several Toronto Maple Leafs players. On Thursday, Head Coach Sheldon Keefe gave a vague but promising answer on the health of Bobby McMann, Calle Jarnkrok and Max Domi.
Keefe, asked about the progress on McMann, Jarnkrok and Domi today, is keep a tight lip. But says "I would say there's been progress, yes."
Asked if some or all would be ready for the playoffs: "I would say all three are possibilities, for sure."
It appears as though Keefe is playing his cards very close to his chest ahead of a meeting with the Boston Bruins, but if they can get all three healthy, they're a fantastic chance of a big time upset in round one.
