The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe shared an update on William Nylander ahead of the third game in the series versus the Boston Bruins.
In a press conference ahead of the Leafs' trip back to Toronto, Keefe stated that there's a possibility that we'll see Nylander in action for game three tomorrow:
"Well, obviously there's no update today. There's not much happening for us today except for getting ready to travel, but there's a possibility for us tomorrow, I guess, is all we would say."
However, Keefe said the same thing yesterday, for the second game, and he didn't play.
The Maple Leafs showed last night that they don't need Nylander to win, but there's no doubt that he would help the point production of the second line, who has struggled since the start of the playoffs.
