NHL Draft Lottery Winners Already Announced
For over a year NHL teams knew Regina Pats star Connor Bedard would be getting selected first overall in the NHL draft.
As we wait to see the results from the Draft Lottery tonight it appears some already know who's won the Lottery.
It's the network DansLesCoulisses that reported the news, but it comes from Yanick Lévesque:
"During the noon edition of the show On Jase on RDS, Yanick Lévesque, who co-hosts with Martin Lemay, claimed that general managers are already informed of the lottery results before the show is broadcast on television.
According to him, the draw takes place in the afternoon, and Kent Hughes and his counterparts must keep the secret until the moment when Bill Daly, deputy commissioner of the NHL, presents the results in front of the cameras.
