However, the real controversy occurred in their locker room when former head coach Michel Bergeron noticed that star forward Austin Matthews was doing his nails before the all-important Game 3.
Bergeron was surprised by what he saw and publicly criticized Matthews for his behavior. He said a player of Matthews' caliber should have had more dog in the lead-up to such an important game.
