The Florida Panthers are showing everyone they are here to stay. It seems they have learned from last years mistakes when they got swept by the Lightning in round 2, now having a 3-0 lead on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Their play has been remarkable, and credit goes to the players and the coaches. But when head coach Paul Maurice was asked how his players have been able to hold off the Leafs star power, he had this to say:
Bobrovsky. That would be the end of that answer.
And he's right. The Leafs for the most part in this series have had the better play-driving statistics. His players haven't been able to completely suppress their chances. They get a ton. Their chances just aren't converting, because of Bobrovsky.

The Leafs core four have been limited to 4 assists total. If they were getting paid 2 million a year each, it would be fine. But these 4 guys are getting paid approximately half of the teams salary cap. That's where the frustration comes from Leafs fans.
All they can do now is take it game by game.
However, Bobrovsky is on a mission, and doesn't look like he's done. He'll be satisfied when he's raising the Stanley Cup over his head.
