Ryan Reaves is known for being an enforcer but he hasn't gotten into too many fights lately. Tonight he changed that.

Reaves Drops The Gloves With Coyotes Enforcer

The 37-year-old got into a scrap with Coyotes enforcer Liam O'Brian late in the first period tonight in front of a home crowd at Scotiabank Arena. It certainly wasn't the most exciting fight of all time, but Reaves did bring his typical charm to the contest. After the linesmen stepped in to break up the fight, Reaves flexed his arm and pointed to it, hyping up the crowd on the way to the penalty box.

The fight was relatively one-sided. While O'Brian did well to hang with Reaves, it was the Leafs tough guy that landed the best blows this time. He was able to knock off the Coyotes forward's helmet before landing a couple of big right hooks.
This was just Reaves' third fight of the season after he started the year off with back-to-back fights in the team's first two games of the season. This is the kind of player Leafs fans were expecting when they signed him.
