Rangers Defenseman Leaves Game In An Ambulance After Scary Incident
In the late stages of the Rangers and Islanders outdoor game things were tight. After an Islanders goal to extend their lead a Rangers defenseman was hunched over in agony. Ryan Lindgren needed to be helped off the ice by his teammates and would not return.
Some time later it was announced that Lindgren's condition required him to head to the ambulance on sight.
Just watched Ryan Lindgren get escorted on golf cart to an ambulance. He was able to walk on his own, face with many visible stitches, eyes completely swollen. #NYR
As of now, it has not been confirmed if Lindgren went to the hospital or not. According to reports it seems as though he suffered a facial injury. As the Rangers or other outlets provide updates on his condition we will pass that info along to you.
