Matt Rempe, the young gun for the Rangers, just delivered a massive hit on Toronto's newest trade acquisition, Ilya Lyubushkin. And let me tell you, it was a doozy.
Lyubushkin got rocked so hard that he didn't even make it back to the bench for the third period.

Now, Toronto had just snagged Lyubushkin from the Anaheim Ducks earlier in the week. This move was supposed to bolster their blue line, and add some muscle and skill. They also got him at a bargain with a cap hit of just $687,000, which is a steal considering his experience.
Yet even though Lyubushkin's stats might not jump off the page, his presence was supposed to make a difference for Toronto, both on the ice and financially. Unfortunately for him, that didn't stop Rempe from laying down the law with that bone-crunching hit.
