The Toronto Maple Leafs finally got one key player back from injury.

Leafs Recall Woll After Ten-Week Ankle Injury

The long awaited return of Joseph Woll has finally arrived. The Leafs announced his recall this morning.
The goaltender was seen practicing with Ilya Samsonov and goaltender coach Curtis Sanford this morning.
Of course this leaves the Leafs in the awkward position of having to carry three goaltenders. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman believes this is exactly what the team intends to do for the time being.

Friedman Reveals Leafs Plans For Jones

With Woll Returning, Jones should be relegated back to his number three role shortly. However, he may still be with the team in that role rather than playing with the Marlies. This is because he would have to clear waivers and his play has been solid enough that many teams may be interested in claiming him. This is exactly why Friedman believes that the Leafs will be carrying three goaltenders for the foreseeable future.
