Byfuglien's Competitive Fishing Career In Full Swing
Apparently, the former defensemen has taken up competitive fishing as a way to pass the time now that his NHL days are in the rearview mirror. Apparently, he's been in the competitive fishing scene since before he retired from the NHL though as he is listed as being active for six years. Byfuglien last played in the 2018-19 season.
He appears to be holding his own in the sport as well as he has two top-ten finishes as well as two championship qualifiers.
Byfuglien played 849 games in the NHL including 609 games for the Jets franchise. He spent one year with the Atlanta Thrashers before they moved to Winnipeg. He has 177 goals and 525 points in his NHL career.
