We have recently learned who the next General Manager of Team Canada could be for the upcoming World Cup and Olympic Games.
Pierre LeBrun Reveals Who He Believes Will Be The Next Team Canada General Manager
If Team Canada is to send NHL players to the Olympics in 2026, or if the NHL is able to organize the World Cup of Hockey for 2025 after nearly a decade of delays, Pierre LeBrun believes that Hockey Canada has its frontrunner for General Manager already picked out.
"My understanding is that St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong, the GM of the 2016 World Cup champion team and GM of the would-be 2022 Team Canada had NHLers gone to China, is the front-runner to run Team Canada again."

Armstrong is well known among Hockey Canada and NHL Players, Managing Canada during this past World Hockey Championships in the spring, and being the GM for the Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues.
LeBrun Believes That We Could See New Faces in Team Canada Executive
LeBrun also discussed how he thinks that the time is now to get some fresh faces into Team Canada's Management team, and alluded to Kyle Dubas being the next manager to be tapped for the role.
It wouldn't surprise me to see some new faces as part of the next management team, though. For example, I could see Kyle Dubas being approached to be part of it." - Pierre LeBrun
