It seems that Dubas isn't finished upgrading his team.
One of the last remaining interesting free agents in the market has spoken out, revealing that he had talks with the Penguins; none other than Tomas Tatar.
"It was, but I don't want to elaborate on it further. I'll keep it to myself. I've mentioned a couple of times with whom I was talking, and it always went the other way."
Tatar has been solid over the last three seasons, scoring 45 goals and accumulating 108 points with the Canadiens and the Devils.
He would be a valuable addition to the Pens, especially in the second power play unit. His leadership and experience could greatly contribute to Pittsburgh's pursuit of their ambitious goals.
