Gary Bettman furious that Connor Bedard partnered with Gatorade Canada

Gatorade is a globally recognized brand, and now that Connor Bedard has officially signed on with them, it will continue to elevate his profile and really make him one of the top faces in the game of hockey, if not in all of sports.

The fact that Gatorade Canada chose to partner with Bedard shows how much of an influence he has around the game, not only on the ice scoring tons of goals, but also off the ice with his community involvement. No doubt the Chicago Blackhawks are thrilled of this latest endorsement deal. Fans will now be seeing lots of Bedard on TV, on social media and pretty much all around anything hockey and sports related.

If there's one person who isn't happy with this, it's commissioner Gary Bettman. The NHL just partnered with BodyArmor, a rival sports drink to Gatorade. Everyone also knows Bettman is a huge supporter of growing the game in the United States, so no doubt, hearing Bedard, who plays for an American team, sign an endorsement deal with a Canadian organization, who is also a major competitor to BodyArmor, is going to give him nightmares every night.
