Jeff Marek made a shock exit from Sportsnet in recent times, and now according to a report, it may be leading to many other cuts.

Sportsnet's hockey coverage has undergone many changes in recent times, but the biggest came in the past few days when Jeff Marek departed the company after 13 years.
After 13 great years at Sportsnet, I'm moving on. It's been an incredible journey and I'm thankful to have worked alongside so many great people and played a role in bringing sports and hockey news to fans across Canada and the world. More to come soon.
- Jeff
Now, it appears that may not be the only changes, with a recent report stating that this was just the tip of the iceberg, with many, many more changes to come with the company.
While NOT connected AT ALL it appears that Jeff Marek's exit from Rogers SN could have come just ahead of what sounds like another round of "changes"/cuts/layoffs for the media company.
It's unclear exactly who or what may be changing, but it's worth noting that this is the same X account that broke the news on Marek, and given the report, it's highly likely that there's some huge changes coming. Sportsnet still remain the premier hockey coverage in Canada, and after seeing one of the best duos in hockey Marek and Elliotte Friedman broken up, we will now wait and see exactly what this means.
