Jon Cooper tells hilarious joke about Wayne Gretzky on TNT broadcast
The Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was on the TNT set and he shared a joke that Brad Marchand told him about Wayne Gretzky.
Cooper and Marchand were both voted as "Mr. TNT". Cooper was this year's award, and Marchand got last year's.
The Bolts' head coach appeared last night in the game 5 of the Western Conference Finals' broadcast alongside the TNT crew, and shared multiple insights about topics discussed during the game.
One of the funniest moments happened when he talked about receiving the Mr. TNT award.
He shared a story that happened right after winning the award. He said that he received a text from Brad Marchand about the fact that they now won a trophy that Wayne Gretzky didn't win.

"It was quite a moment. I texted him after and he said 'Coop, at least we have a trophy Gretzky hasn't won.'"

Even if this is a made-up award (all awards are made up, no?), It's pretty nice of Cooper to show up for a broadcast after winning the trophy.
