Gary Bettman mentionned a shocking detail about the four current NHLers that face charges for the scandal of the 2018 Team Canada Junior.

2018 WJC Team Canada Junior Scandal: Players Who Face Charges Are Still Getting Paid

Bettman revealed that Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foote and Dillon Dube are all still paid by their teams, despite their alleged involvement in the scandal.
"In his All-Star media availability, commissioner Gary Bettman said that the the 4 players that are currently away from their teams on personal leave, have not been suspended without pay.

Therefore all 4 players continue to count against the salary cap."
Even if they can't play because they're facing criminal charges, they still get paid.
This is completely wrong, but Bettman and the NHL won't do anything about it until the players' fates are confirmed by a the Court.
More to come.
