Florida Panthers fans are selling off their game seven tickets in droves after the team dropped game six, likely as a result of the team crumbling before their eyes.

Remember when the Panthers had a 3-0 lead in the series? Pepperidge Farms remembers. As do the fans of the Panthers, who must have been elated that their team had a strangle hold on the series. Unfortunately for them, the team has since collapsed, with the Oilers winning three in a row themselves and in a very convincing manner to boot.
THIS SERIES NEEDS 7⃣

The #Oilers defeat the Panthers 5-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final to send the series back to Sunrise tied 3-3.

If you look for tickets to game seven now, you might not expect to find much, given how close we are to game day. However, there are actually many options available as Panthers fans seemingly do not want to watch their team fail in historic fashion.
The number of fans selling their Game 7 tickets is insane to me. I understand a lot of Cats fans feel the inevitable that is coming - but what if the Cats win? You surely will regret this decision. Will our arena be packed with Oilers fans? #TimeToHunt #LetsGoOilers
That being said, many fans would argue that you shouldn't sell tickets to a historic game just because you think your team might lose. Even if the Oilers do win on Monday, that would be a historic result. Not only would it be just the second reverse sweep in Stanley Cup finals history, but it would also be Connor McDavid's first ever Stanley Cup.
At the end of the day I am a hockey fan. A game 7 Stanley Cup final is a once in a lifetime experience. If the Oilers win and McDavid hoists the cup - it would be similar to being there when Gretzky raised the cup for the first time in 1984. It's historic - and yes I would be upset, but at the end of the day the better team will hoist the cup - I want to be there to see which team that is. If it's my team - great I will ecstatic. If it's not - I'll be more upset than I have ever been, but will appreciate being there in person to see a game that will be remembered and spoken about for decades to come.
Be sure to tune in Monday for the most exciting game of the season.
