Creed Jones tragically passed away, leaving the hockey world in mourning, and now the cause of his tragic passing has been revealed.

The entire hockey world has been in mourning over the past few days after the tragic passing of Creed Jones, a former QMJHL goaltender. Now, a new article has revealed the reason behind the tragic passing, with the cause of death revealed as a late-night motorcycle accident.
«Former Oceanic goaltender, Creed Jones, tragically died at the age of 24 following a motorcycle accident on Friday night on Highway 417 in the Ottawa region. His host families in Rimouski are in shock.»

«According to the CBC, Jones was traveling westbound shortly before midnight. He reportedly collided with another motorcyclist, aged 27, in a ramp. He also died in the tragedy.»

The 24-year old was a member of three different QMJHL teams between the years of 2017 and 2021, and by all accounts, he was an amazing person on and off the ice, and will be missed by all that knew him.
We continue sending our condolences to anyone that knew Creed, but particularly his family, his host families throughout his time in the QMJHL, his friends and his teammates.
