Jordan Chiles' Olympic Bronze Stripped: Her Sister makes Shocking Accusations
The sister of U.S Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles made some shocking accusations following the International Olympic Committee's decision to strip her of her bronze medal.
On August 5th, in Paris,
Jordan Chiles performed in the Artistic Gymnastics Women's Floor Exercise Final. She finished in third rank, but the IOC decided that she must return her bronze medal to the IOC over a controversial reason.
Indeed, after Chiles' performance, the judges made a mistake and failed to add 0.1 point to her score for the difficulty level. Chiles' coach, Cecile Landi, filed an inquiry, and Chile ended in third place.
However, in gymnastics, the last person to compete only has one minute to file an inquiry, whereas other contenders get four.

The coach filed the inquiry with the judges one minute and four seconds after her routine. Because of that, the IOC decided to strip her of her title.
On social media, Jazmin Chiles, the gymnast's sister, didn't shy away from highlighting the IOC's systemic racism.
Gina Chiles, Jordan's mother, also revealed that since the decision was made, the gymnast received a lot of racist comments online, which highlights the fact that racism is still there, even when you're the best in what you do.
"The racist disgusting comments are still happening in 2024. I'm tired of people who say it no longer exists. My daughter is a highly decorated Olympian with the biggest heart and a level of sportsmanship that is unmatched...and she's being called disgusting things."
One thing is certain: the IOC won't be growing their fanbase with that decision.
