The Anaheim Ducks will be without two of their top players for an extended time.

Ducks Lose Key Youngsters To Injury

The Anaheim Ducks will be without Forward Trevor Zegras and Defenseman Pavel Mintyukov due to injury, the Ducks announced.
Zegras is to undergo ankle surgery and will be out 6-8 weeks. Mintyukov will be out for approximately 6 weeks with a separated shoulder. Both injuries were suffered in Anaheim's game Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.
Zegras, 22, has 3 Goals and 7 Ppints in 20 Games for the Ducks this season. Zegras is in the first year of a three-year contract with Anaheim. Zegras was a first-round pick of the Ducks, 9th overall, in 2019.
Darren Dreger of TSN reported yesterday that teams have expressed interest in Zegras, but the team is not actively shopping him at this time, although they were reported as listening to offers.
Mintyukov, 20, leads Anaheim defensemen in scoring, the rookie having 19 points in 40 Games this season with the Ducks. Mintyukov was drafted 10th Overall by Anaheim in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Anaheim did not name any call-ups to replace their two players, although Anaheim recently recalled D Robert Hagg from AHL San Diego.
