Report: Forward Maxime Comtois has just signed a contract
Maxime Comtois was still without a contract, having ended his association with the Anaheim Ducks. His name has been linked to the Canadiens several times this summer.
In the end, Max signed a professional trial contract with Vegas.

Comtois will now have the chance to showcase his talents with the defending Stanley Cup champions, if he manages to carve out a position with the team.
It should also be remembered that he was part of Junior Team Canada in 2018, and that this story isn't over yet. We still don't know if the allegations affect him personally.
