Next Possible City to get a New NHL Team Revealed
One of the main debates among hockey fans is the never-ending quest to find the next expansion destination.
With the Golden Knights and the Kraken, the NHL showed that the League is ready to get more teams.
Kevin Weekes, the renowned insider, reported a couple of months ago that the NHL was looking at possible destinations for expansions. A lot of rumors have spread since then.

Later, Bettman denied those rumors, but revealed that many cities, such as Houston, Quebec City or Atlanta are interested in hosting an NHL team.
A credible source revealed otherwise.
According to Eklund, the next destination will likely be Salt Lake City.

The Utah Jazz owner in the NBA expressed a desire to get an NHL team in Salt Lake City.
According to Pierre Lebrun, they could get a brand new team, or be the chosen destination to host the Coyotes if they do relocate.
