The Boston Bruins have responded publicly following the arrest of Milan Lucic.

Bruins Speak After Lucic Is Arrested

The Boston Bruins have released a statement on Milan Lucic, who was arrested earlier Saturday morning in Boston on Domestic Violence charges.
In a statement, the Bruins say they are taking the matter seriously, and that Lucic will be taking an "indefinite leave of absence" from the team for the time being.
"The Boston Bruins are aware of an incident involving Milan Lucic Friday evening. Milan is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team. The organization takes these matters very seriously, and will work with the Lucic family to provide any support and assistance they may need. We will have no further comment at this time." - Bruins Statement

Bruins Head Coach Jim Montgomery echoed the team's statement on taking the incident seriously to reporters, saying the team will try to help his family the best that they can.
We support the Lucic family, and we will continue to provide support and help for the Lucic family. And out of respect for their privacy, that's all I'm going to comment on the details right now.» - Jim Montgomery (via NESN)

Bruins Captain Brad Marchand also commented, saying the team is "concerned and upset" for the family, and was thinking of Lucic's wife, Brittany, and their kids. Police questioned Lucic back in 2011 over an argument with Brittany, then his girlfriend, and now wife. Lucic, who was described as "highly intoxicated", was not charged.
Lucic, a former Stanley Cup Champion with the Bruins in 2011, returned to Boston after leaving nearly a decade ag in 2015. Lucic has 2 assists in 4 games for the Bruins this season.
