The Boston Bruins are being linked to some top trade options, according to a report.

Bruins Linked To Forward Acquisition

The Boston Bruins have been seen by many around the National Hockey League as a bit of a surprise, continuing their winning ways after the retirements of longtime franchise legends Patrice Bergeron & David Krejci, leaving two massive holes down the middle. But surpringly, Boston has not only rebounded, but continued to be one of the best teams in the NHL, and now look to be serious buyers in the trade market.
According to a report from The Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa, the Bruins could be in trade talks for a top forward.
According to Shinzawa, the apparent favorite for a Bruins trade among the team is Calgary's Elias Lindholm, the 29-year-old Center in the final year of his contract at $4.85M yearly.
Lindholm currently has 8 Goals and 23 Points in 35 Games for the Flames this season, and would give Boston a strong two-way option down the middle to provide relief for the Bruins at Center, or move Zacha to the C with Lindholm at Left Wing.
Another option discussed is Anthony Duclair of the San Jose Sharks. Duclair currently has 7 Goals and 13 Points in 32 Games for the Sharks, with a 31-Goal effort with Florida 2 seasons prior.
Also mentioned in Shinzawa's article is Tyler Johnson of the Chicago Blackhawks and Adam Henrique of the Anaheim Ducks.
