The Boston Bruins apparently were in the middle of making the biggest trade of the deadline but one of their players shut it down personally.

Ullmark Rejects Blockbuster Trade For Boston Bruins

According to reports, the Boston Bruins had a deal in place that would have sent Linus Ullmark out of Boston. However, the goaltender has a 15-team no-trade list and he reportedly rejected the trade himself, forcing the team to look at other options.
The #Bruins 🇺🇸 had a deal in place to trade reigning Vezina winner Linus Ullmark 🇸🇪 — but he 'nixed' the deal due to the geography of the team he would've been going to.

Bruins reporter Jimmy Murphy believes the team involved may have been the LA Kings. He has heard that Ullmark did not want to go out west, so it is very possible that they could be on his no-trade list.
NHL insider Kevin Weekes also mentioned this story on ESPN, adding credibility to these reports. It seems as though this trade was very real. Now the only question remaining is what was the other team involved?
