Boston Bruins star goalie Linus Ullmark has officially waived his no trade clause, which means a potential deal involving the netminder is close.
With the emergence of Jeremy Swayman as the Bruins number 1 goalie, Linus Ullmark has been subjected to trade rumours for the better part of one year, even declining to waive his NMC at the 2023-2024 trade deadline in a trade that would have seen him dealt to the Los Angeles Kings.
According to the 2 Pad Stack podcast, who cover anything and everything Bruins related, Linus Ullmark has agreed to waive his no trade clause for the Ottawa Senators, a team in desperate need of a bonafide number 1 goalie.

Although no trade or contract extension has been reached yet, it certainly seems like a deal is very close to being completed.
Ullmark split starts with Jeremy Swayman last season, playing in 40 games and notching a record of 22-10-7, while posting a 2.55 GAA, and a .915 Save %. While these numbers are still fantastic, it was certainly a step back from his Veizna performance from the 2022-2023 NHL season.
While nothing is confirmed yet, it certainly seems like Linus Ullmark will on the move sooner rather than later.
