NHL personality Paul Bissonnette calls out Bruins GM Don Sweeney after recent criticism
Paul Bissonnette was recently called out by Bruins GM Don Sweeney, and he hasn't held back in a response to the veteran.
The Boston Bruins are currently in danger of starting the 2024/25 season without Jeremy Swayman signed, and it was a topic brought up in a recent interview with the GM. He addressed the ongoing issues with Swayman, but on top of that he also called out Paul Bissonnette of the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, who first reported that the two sides were far apart on a new deal.
Bissonnette clearly didn't like being called out like that, so naturally, he made a joke about it during a recent post, but then went on the offensive, calling out the veteran GM for his comments.
This situation has gone to a level that no one could have expected, and with Swayman still not signed, it's hard not to argue with the report that Bissonnette made on the podcast, so for now, we will have to see how it plays out as the Bruins continue scrambling to sort out their goaltending situation before the season begins.
