The Toronto Maple Leafs are eyeing up Boston Bruins' winger Jake DeBrusk for the upcoming free agency frenzy.

With the offseason looming, it's no secret that star players are on the move, ready to swap jerseys and cities in the NHL . And one name making waves is DeBrusk, the Bruins' dynamic winger, set to test the waters of free agency.
Reports are swirling that the Maple Leafs are contenders in the race to snag him. According to The Fourth Period, they're not alone in the hunt, but they're definitely in the mix.
The Leafs are expected to be "one of a handful of teams" in the race to sign Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk this summer.

If DeBrusk hits the open market as a free agent in July, several teams in need of a physical top-six forward will be calling, with suitors like the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs potentially in the mix.
DeBrusk's had 19 goals and 40 points in his latest campaign with the Bruins. Back in 2022-23, he registered 27 goals and 50 points in just 64 games.
Imagine him lining up alongside Auston Matthews and William Nylander in Toronto. That trio could be downright lethal! If DeBrusk lands in Toronto, he could be poised for a breakout season like no other. So, Maple Leafs fans, keep your eyes open for this potential game-changer this Summer.
