Hockey is one of the most physical major sports in North America and as such, tensions often run high as teams and players alike make their physical presence known. Tonight we saw a major scrum in Buffalo as tensions boiled over between the Sabres and Bruins.
Multiple players from both teams paired up although no one really fought. The referees noted this by handing out lots of roughing minor penalties to players on both teams. Oddly though, neither Marchand or Dahlin took a penalty on the play despite their involvement in the scrum.
