BREAKING : Nikita Zadorov Has Been Traded To A Canadian Team

The Calgary Flames have Traded Defenseman Nikita Zadorov to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a 2024 5th Round Pick and a 2026 3rd Round Pick. Vancouver acquired the 5th in yesterday's trade that sent Anthony Beauvillier to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Zadorov requested a trade from the Calgary Flames earlier in the month following a game vs the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto was one of the teams linked to the 6'6 Russian Defenseman.

Zadorov, 28, is in the final year of a two-year contract, with a $3.75M cap hit. Zadorov, in 11 NHL seasons, has 42 Goals and 132 Points in 588 career NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks & Calgary Flames.
