Darryl Sutter's Under Fire For Disturbing Actions While In Calgary

Darryl Sutter's time with the Flames came to an abrupt end after the 2022-23 season wrapped up. Many assumed it was because of the Flames' failure to make the playoffs but it turns out it was far more than that.

Shortly after the firing, it was revealed that Sutter instilled a toxic environment into the Flames locker room and further details have recently surfaced in an article for The Athletic.

Despite the player determining this did not cross a line, it may have crossed a line for a different player. If the Flames needed to launch an investigation, it was obviously a serious issue at the time.

While Sutter declined the allegations, it is clear that there is something more to this than meets the eye. Hopefully, now that Sutter is out of a job, he will reflect on his actions and grow as a person.
