The Calgary Flames came into this off-season with seven UFA's for the 2024 summer, and after moving Tyler Toffoli, it appears another name could be up for sale too.
No extension for Lindholm?
While rumours have been swirling, the Flames have reportedly offered Elias Lindholm a massive extension, but now, after not accepting their deal, he could be on the move.
We've seen the links to several top teams in the Eastern Conference, especially the Boston Bruins, but now, it appears another playoff contender has joined the race.
Washington Capitals
According to The Hockey News, the Washington Capitals have immense interest in Lindholm, and with the need for a healthy top six centre, he could be the perfect addition.
