Mark Giordano, a player who wasn't drafted but turned out to be a great find for hockey, has been a reliable and successful player for almost twenty years.

Giordano has achieved a lot in his career. He was the respected captain of two different teams and won the prestigious Norris Trophy for the best defenseman in the league. However, there are rumors that at 39 years old, Giordano might be preparing for a new journey.

One Last Run for Gio?

There are signs that Giordano might be slowing down, even though he still has one year left on his contract with the Toronto team. He has had an amazing career, leading both the Calgary Flames and the Seattle Kraken, even if it was only for a short time. His story of going from an overlooked free agent to being the best defenseman in the league in the 2018-19 season is truly inspiring.
Even though he hasn't won the Stanley Cup as a player, there's speculation that Giordano might have a role in the management of the Toronto team. It would be exciting to see him transition from playing on the ice to working in the team's front office.
