Kuznetsov Under Fire For Taking So Long During Shootout Attempt
Evgeny Kuznetsov has a particularly unique shootout style, taking sometimes over 10 seconds for each attempt. Last night was no different, as the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs battled it out in a shootout. Kuznetsov took his time during his attempt and was stopped by Samsonov.

Hurricanes Battle Back From 2 Goal Deficit in Final Minutes To Win in Shootout
The Carolina Hurricanes were able to battle back from their two-goal deficit in order to secure the win, as they completed the comeback with just 6 seconds left in the game.
The Leafs and Canes are both poised to be post-season competitors and at that point in the year, the shootout doesn't even matter.
