NBC Broadcaster Reveals The Whole Story On Perry Controversy
NBC broadcaster John Scott may have just revealed the full story on what actually happened with Corey Perry.
Corey Perry was a model citizen in the NHL for like, 18 years. He made a mistake in Columbus one night, he drank too much and he made a pass at a staff member who worked at NBC. And then Chicago, in the environment that they live in now, if there's any hint of anything like that, they just get rid of everything.
Confirmed by current NBC Sports Chicago broadcaster John Scott that Corey Perry «made a mistake in Columbus one night, drank too much and made a pass at a staff member who worked at NBC». If that's all Perry did then it's not a big deal and nobody should be concerned.
Perry looked like a great fit for the young Blackhawks until the incident occurred. John Scott went on to defend Perry saying he is still a model citizen and does not have any character issue.
The last part is good news for the Edmonton Oilers who just signed him for the rest of the season and look to go on a deep run with Perry in their bottom six.
