The Chicago Blackhawks 2023-24 season is bound to be a fun one, and while the attention is all directed towards Connor Bedard, there's other young players on this team to keep an eye on.

A talented young forward

After a career high 70 games in 2022-23, Philipp Kurashev became an even more exciting young name for Chicago fans, and while he posted just 9 goals and 25 points on the year, the future appeared bright.
Unfortunately however, Kurashev's 2023-24 debut is now going to get pushed well into the future, as the team have revealed he will likely be hitting Long-Term Injury Reserve as a result of a wrist injury.

A bright future

The injury was once thought to be a minor issue, but unfortunately, it appears to have taken a turn for the worst, and while Chicago haven't been forthcoming with details, it appears he's going to miss a lot of hockey in the near future.
Still, the team have Bedard to look forward too, and if the other young names on this team can come around, we could be looking at yet another powerhouse squad in Chicago.
