Things like this have become somewhat of a regular occurrence for the Blackhawks rookie. Earlier in the season, Bedard was seen giving pucks to young fans after a Blackhawks practice. It is moments like these that make NHL players so beloved by their fans, but also by their coaches. If he keeps this up, Bedard could very well be wearing the "C" for the team in the near future. After all, his play on the ice is already more than sufficient for a captain in the NHL.

Bedard helps Blackhawks secure unlikely comeback victory

Last night, the Blackhawks were in action as they took on the league-worst San Jose Sharks. At first it appeared as though it would be a crushing defeat as the Sharks went up 4-0 in the second period. The team would take a 4-2 lead into the final frame.
What would follow would prove to be one of the worst defeats in San Jose Sharks History It was the first time the team had ever lost a game in which they held a four-goal lead. That includes both regular season and the playoffs. Philipp Kurashev would tie the game with 47 seconds left. Seth Jones would then pot his second of the night on overtime, netting the game winner.
Philipp Kurashev scores with 47 seconds left in regulation, and Chicago has rallied back from a 4-0 deficit to tie it at 4-4 in San Jose. Wow. #Blackhawks
Seth Jones scores the overtime winner — his second goal of the game — and Chicago completes the comeback in San Jose. Unreal. #Blackhawks
Bedard had just one point in the game, but he continues to be a workhorse for the team, leading them in scoring with 55 points through 57 games.
