Tomas Tatar has been on the free agent market all summer long. Many expected him to be signed by not but he remains a free agent. He is one of the top names left on the board and fans are anxiously awaiting to see where he ends up. Today we finally have our answer.

Tatar Signs In Colorado

It was recently announced that Tomas Tatar has signed in Colorado with the Avalanche. After being spotted skating with the Avs earlier this morning an official announcement was made by the team.

If any more confirmation was needed NHL insider extraordinaire Elliotte Friedman also confirmed the deal. He also confirmed that the cap hit will be 1.5 million dollars for the year.
Since signing today Tatar is already on the ice with his new teammates.
Tatar will look to add some much needed depth scoring to the Avalanche roster. Colorado will be looking to get back to the top of the mountain after winning the Stanley Cup in 2022.
